Delete your Urvano account

How to close your account and have your data deleted, what happens next, and what we keep longer and why.

You can close your account yourself at any time, in the phone app or on the website. If you cannot sign in, write to us and we will close it for you. Only the owner of the account can close it.

In the phone app

  1. Open the Urvano app and sign in.
  2. Tap the gear at the top right of the screen to open Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Delete your account and tap Delete my account.
  4. Tap Yes, delete my account to confirm.

On the website

  1. Sign in at urvano.ai.
  2. Open Settings and find Your data.
  3. Press Close my account, then Yes, close it.

In the same place, Download my data saves everything on the account in one file: your customers, your bookings, your pages and your history.

By email, if you cannot sign in

Write to support@urvano.ai from the email address you use for Urvano, and tell us the name of your business. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. Then we close it for you, and the same 30 days apply.

What happens when you close it

  • The work stops at once. Urvano stops working on your business that day.
  • You are not charged again.
  • Your phones stop getting notices from Urvano.
  • We email you to confirm, with the date your data will be deleted.
  • For 30 days you can change your mind. You can still sign in, download everything, or press Keep my account on the website, in Settings under Your data, and carry on where you left off.
  • We email you again a few days before the data is deleted.
  • After 30 days we delete the account and what it holds: your customers and leads, your bookings, your pages, your photos, and the sign-in details of everyone on the account. After that we cannot get it back for you.

What we already published for you on other services, such as posts on your Google business profile, stays there. Those are yours to keep or remove.

What we keep longer, and why

A few records stay after the account is deleted, as our Privacy Policy says:

  • Invoices and payment records, for as long as tax law requires.
  • The record that you accepted our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, including the internet address and browser it was accepted from, for as long as the law requires us to be able to show it.
  • The record of each time a person on our team opened your account. After your account closes it is kept without your name or the details that identify you, so that we can show what happened.
  • Our stop list. If you pressed stop on one of our emails, your address stays on our stop list for as long as we send email, so that we do not email you again.

The full list is in the Privacy Policy, under How long we keep it.

If you asked for a free website check report

If you typed in your email to get the report, we keep that email, the website address you checked, the result we sent you and the date. To stop the emails, open the stop link in any of them and press the button; they stop at once. To have your email address and the check records deleted sooner, write to support@urvano.ai. Otherwise we delete them twelve months after your check, unless you have opened an account with us by then. If you pressed stop, we keep your address on our stop list so that we do not email you again.

More in the Privacy Policy, under Free website check.

If you contacted a business that uses Urvano

If you asked a business for a quote or a booking, your details belong to that business. Ask the business to delete them, or write to support@urvano.ai and we will pass it on and act on their instruction.
