Privacy Policy
How Urvano handles information, in plain language.
Effective August 23, 2026
Urvano is operated by its founder while the operating company is being formed. When that company is registered its legal name and registered address will appear here, and this page will be updated on the same day.
Who we are
Urvano provides marketing software to local service businesses ("Businesses"). This policy covers the Urvano website, dashboard, and mobile apps. You can reach us about anything on this page at privacy@urvano.ai.
Two different roles, and the difference matters
We handle two kinds of information and our responsibility is not the same for both.
- Business data is the account of the business that pays us: contact details, login details, business profile, billing information, and the sign-in permissions they grant us for their own advertising, social, and listing accounts. For this we are the controller.
- Homeowner and customer enquiries ("leads") are the people who fill in a Business's form or reply to its ad. That information belongs to the Business. We process it on their instructions, as their service provider, and their own privacy policy governs what they do with it. If you enquired with a business and want your details removed, contact that business, or write to us and we will pass it on and act on their instruction.
What we collect
- Account and billing information for the Business (name, business name and address, email, phone, plan, payment status).
- Business profile information the owner gives us: trade, service area, hours, licence and insurance details, photos, reviews, and the facts they ask us to publish on their behalf.
- The sign-in permissions a Business grants us for its connected accounts (its Google business profile, Facebook page, ad accounts and similar), stored encrypted, used only to do what the Business asked for.
- Lead information submitted to a Business through its forms, ads, or listings: name, contact details, and what they wrote about the work they need.
- Appointments booked through a Business's booking link.
- Ordinary technical logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service.
Where it comes from
Directly from the Business; from the people who contact a Business through its ad forms, website, or Google listing; and from the platforms a Business has authorized us to access on its behalf.
How we use it
- To run the service the Business is paying for: publish and manage their marketing, answer their enquiries quickly, and book appointments.
- To send the instant follow-up email a new enquiry triggers, and to confirm appointments booked through a booking link.
- To measure results and attribute them to the campaign or page that produced them.
- To improve the service using aggregated, de-identified patterns: never one Business's data shown or applied to another in identifiable form.
- To meet legal obligations and to protect the service from abuse.
Automated processing and our AI agents
Your marketing is created and published by automated software. The product does the work under one name: Urvano. Urvano is AI software, not a human, and no person reviews or approves generated content before it publishes unless you turn on review mode, in which case nothing publishes until you approve it. We label AI-generated surfaces in the product, and we do not claim automated output was written by a person.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use service providers to run the product (cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and the AI services that generate content), and each receives only what it needs to perform its function for us. When a Business connects an advertising or listing platform, we send that platform what the Business instructed us to publish on their behalf.
Cookies
Our own site uses only what is needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. Websites we build and run for a Business may carry that Business's own advertising pixels at their instruction; those are governed by the Business's policy and consent choices.
How long we keep it
Account records for as long as the account is open and then as long as we are required to keep them for tax and legal purposes. Lead and appointment records for as long as the Business keeps them, or until the Business or the individual asks us to delete them. Ordinary technical logs for a short operational period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of certain uses. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them. Write to privacy@urvano.ai and we will respond within the time the law allows. If your enquiry is about a lead record, see the two-roles section above. We will act on it with the Business that holds it.
Marketing email and opt-out
Every commercial email we send on a Business's behalf carries that Business's identity, a postal address, and a working way to stop receiving them. Opting out is honoured at the point of sending, so it applies to every future message on that path, not only to the one you replied to.
Security
Each Business's data is isolated at the database level, not merely by application code, so one account's queries cannot reach another's. Sign-in details and the permissions a Business grants us are stored encrypted. Access to production data is limited to what is needed to operate the service.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
Where information is processed
We operate from the United States and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where information is transferred internationally we rely on the protections our providers offer for those transfers.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and we will tell account holders directly when a change is material.
